Fall femininity. That’s the energy of Libra season, which officially launched the first day of autumn.

Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of femininity. Venus influences how receptive we are, how we love, how we want to be loved, what we value and what our idea of beauty is. When the sun is in the Venusian sign of Libra (aka Libra season), the theme of balance is added to the equation. Now is the time to examine how balanced or imbalanced your ability to receive is, how aligned your core values are, and if the effort you’re giving (and receiving) in your relationships is being reciprocated.

Couldn’t we all benefit from a more feminine approach this time of year, regardless of sex, gender, or identity?…

While working hard to harvest the abundance of summer. While reimagining how we gather throughout these colder, darker months. While hosting family and friends during the season of giving and gratitude. I think more femininity would lend a nice balance to the often laborious season of fall.

I’ll be working with roses all Libra season long in my treatment room and recommending my astrology clients do the same. Roses, like the sign of Libra, are ruled by Venus. Adding rose petals to your bath or altar, diffusing rose essential oil or adding a few drops to your body moisturizer are some good ways to receive more love of all types (self, romantic, familial, platonic… ), balance and beauty in your everyday life. It also doesn’t hurt that these rituals are easy and inexpensive- just the way I like to keep them.
