If you’re finding the concept of Fall Femininity I wrote about last week a little challenging to embody these days, it could be because Venus is currently retrograde til November 13. You can check out my last newsletter here to read about Libra season, Venus (Libra’s ruling planet), and how to receive the love and feminine flare this celestial body so generously offers.
This week, I want to share a few more ways to call in Venusian vibes, especially on the heels of the new moon in Libra this Saturday. These practices would make wonderful new moon rituals and, as always, are simple, easy and inexpensive. New moons inspire new beginnings, so set an intention centering Libra themes (balance, receptivity, relationships, beauty) and make some moon magic happen by giving one of these a try.
Adorn your home.
Buy yourself roses and display them in your home. Venus and Libra love a good aesthetic and astro-herbalism correlates them both to roses. What better way to show yourself some love (a very Venus thing to do) than buying yourself flowers?
Nourish your skin.
One of the parts of our bodies that Libra rules is our skin. Spend some time taking care of yours. This can be the skin on your body, face, or both! A facial on Saturday would be a great way to welcome the new moon in Libra. Schedule one with an aesthetician or keep it cheap by giving yourself one at home. Even just moisturizing with my favorite rosehip serum by Mountain Rose Herbs would make a beautiful ritual.
Connect with your people.
Libra is known for how relationship oriented they are, so Saturday is a good time to gather with your people. Or your person. Remember- I like to keep my rituals and practices easily doable and I encourage you to do the same. Make it a potluck or only invite your bestie or lover over. The goal is making time for genuine connection. Journal or chat about your new moon intentions with one another beneath the stars. 💫
